Catholic Apologetics is the defense of the Catholic faith. A Catholic apologist is one who defends the Catholic faith. Catholic apologists attempt to show that the Catholic faith is true and respond to objections raised by non-Catholics. Current issues are differences between Catholics and Protestants, such as the Sola Scriptura, Sola Fide, and the role of Mary.
